According to CUC Freight, citing China News Agency, US President Biden came to Baltimore, Maryland inspect the recently collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge. Biden said reopening the Port of Baltimore is a "top priority" and plans to resume navigation by the end of May.

Since the tragedy of crashed into Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge on 26th March 2024, the port was closed down for weeks. Limited access channels to move cargo traffic at Port of Baltimore will be ready by the end of April.
Thus far, three temporary channels underneath the remaining portions of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge have opened:
1) One channel has a depth of 11 feet, a 264-foot horizontal clearance and a 95-foot vertical clearance.
2) The second channel has a depth of 14 feet, a 280-foot horizontal clearance and a 124-foot vertical clearance.
3) The third channel has a depth of 20 feet, a 300-foot horizontal clearance and a 135-foot vertical clearance.

The coming plan is to open a 35-foot-deep channel by the end of this month, and then a permanent 50-foo-deep, 700-foot-wide channel by the end of May, which would essentially reopen the port to full traffic.
